About Me

I am a writer, researcher, and communications professional with over 15 years of experience, holding a Master’s in Globalization Studies from Dartmouth College with a focus on journalism and global affairs. My expertise lies in transforming complex information into accessible, engaging content for diverse audiences. I have edited four books, authored numerous academic articles, and in 2022, wrote a book scheduled for publication by Hachette Book Group in 2025. My work has appeared in Newsweek, TIME, Foreign Affairs, and the Harvard Business Review.

Upon completing my master’s degree coursework in 2013, I was invited to join the United Nations Office of Dr. Paul Farmer, Special Adviser to the Secretary-General on Community-Based Medicine and Lessons from Haiti. Within a year, I was promoted to Research and Communications Manager after initiating a groundbreaking research initiative. My work was utilized in various communication materials for the remainder of my tenure at Dr. Farmer’s office and presented directly to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, former President Bill Clinton, and other high-level officials. It was also featured in Dr. Farmer’s book on the 2014 Ebola crisis, titled “The Plague Year,” in which I am acknowledged.

In 2021, I accepted a proposal to write a book with Maria Brinck, founder of Zynergy International, a leadership consulting company. The book, “Beyond the Leadership Monopoly,” argues that the world’s unprecedented global challenges in the coming decades necessitate a new approach to leadership. It is scheduled for publication by Hachette Book Group in 2025.

I continued working as a writer, collaborating on a research report titled “Natural Selection Favors AIs over Humans” with the Center for AI Safety (CAIS), positing that evolution, rather than humans, will shape AI development and underscore the catastrophic risks this entails. Upon the project’s completion, CAIS founder Dan Hendrycks, recently recognized by TIME as one of the top 100 most influential figures in AI, requested that I distill the report into a 1,000-word article. The result was “The Darwinian Argument for Worrying About AI,” published in TIME in 2023. In August 2024, I had another piece published in TIME titled “California’s Draft AI Law Would Protect More Than Just People,” supporting California’s legislative bill SB 1047 on AI safety.

Driven by a passion for learning and natural curiosity, I pride myself on strong interdisciplinary skills and the ability to collaborate with experts from diverse fields.
